Dr.-Klaus-Körper-Preis 2024 for Moritz Flaschel
Dr. Flaschel has been selected as a winner of the Dr.-Klaus-Körper-Preis 2024 with his dissertation “Automated discovery of material models in continuum solid mechanics”.
The prize is funded by the foundation Dr.-Klaus-Körper-Stiftung and awarded by the Association for Applied Mathematics and Mechanics (Gesellschaft für Angewandte Mathematik und Mechanik, GAMM). It will be handed over at the opening ceremony of the GAMM’s annual conference on Monday, 18.03.2024, in Magdeburg, Germany.
Moritz has been a PhD student at the Computational Mechanics Group under the supervision of Prof. Laura De Lorenzis until March 2023.
